Mainly because English aint my first language and also because I first wrote everything and then read it through, started to look for synonyms on some words, went over dialogues to add in what voice they had etcetera.

Many keep asking me when my book is done and I use to tell them that it's done when I have done everything I can to make the book be a book I would love to read myself. I also write other books for kids and teens and sometimes I'm in no mood to write, sometimes ideas showing up for one of the books I writing or new ideas pops up. When I don't have time to write, I use to make notes on things that shows up during the day and so on that I can use when I have time to sit down to write.

Thanks again for great advices AJ Humpage. It made me think about the first book I started to write that is not done yet, how I described the smell from a tea and things like that gives the reading of a book so much more. / Angel L. Don't force yourself to write because you've set yourself a time limit. Creativity happens when it is ready, not when you force it to be ready. So writing a novel can take as long as it takes. A year. Eighteen months, two years. Some authors have taken a decade to write their novel. My writing output is not dictated by self imposed limits. I write when I feel "in the zone" and creative. A novel can be a two year process. My short stories take many months.

So my advice is take your time - don't rush a novel. It's a complex piece of art. Write it when you have time, when you feel you want to and when the creativity wants you to.AllWriteFictionAdvicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03381125356850555606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545724276587519907.post-72641118958635320302018-03-28T13:06:10.421+01:002018-03-28T13:06:10.421+01:00Hey AJ,

I am working in a company and dont get much time to think and write it as the way i get it. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16865243375407930324noreply@blogger.com
